Boundless Home EP
My debut EP, “Boundless Home” is about unconditional love, and finding the true meaning of “home.” In “Boundless Home” I’ve combined a lot of my experiences over years of being in a long-term relationship that included traveling to many different Canadian cities.
I finished writing most of the EP during my move to Montréal from Toronto, and then back again, during fall/winter 2023. Musically, it borrows from ambient, electronica, neoclassical, and experimental electronic music. All of the field recordings heard on the EP were made by me in the past few years, capturing fragments of love and curiosity.
I’m always hesitant to speak too much about personal experiences, in my music, but I’ve taken “Boundless Home” as an opportunity to go out of my comfort zone and be vulnerable. It’s a musical work that is very meaningful to me.
